Firstly, after the trip from Yerevan, we have a short stop for rest in Yeghegnadzor town. After some free time here, the journey will continue to picturesque Shaki Waterfall.
One of the highlights of this tour is undoubtedly the ride on the Wings of Tatev, the world’s longest reversible cable car, offering unparalleled views of the surrounding landscape as it carries you across the gorge to the monastery. In 2010, it got a place in the Guinness Book of record. *Please note the price of one-way ropeway ticket is not included in tour price (6.500 AMD). It should be purchased separately on spot or in our office before the tour.

The astounding thing is that it is built on the high plateau in the Vorotan river gorge and is surrounded by dense forests and high mountains.

Выбрали тур в Татев. Нария и Марат джан сделали нашу поездку очень уютной и запоминающейся! В туре предусмотрены все удобства для комфорта гостей: интернет в автобусе, обед, своевременные остановки, что было очень важно, так как путь до монастыря не самый близкий. Каждый гость смог прогрузиться в историю Армении, увидеть невероятную красоту гор и водопада, а также попробовать домашнюю еду и вина!
Также очень оперативно и быстро удалось все забронировать, не возникло никаких сложностей!

Our guide, Anastasia, made the trip smooth and enjoyable with her knowledge and friendliness. Our driver, Karen, was very nice, although he drove quite fast on the tight and bumpy roads. It was a long tour but the guide Sam made it fun! There were only 3 English speakers and maybe 9 Russian speakers on the tour but he never made us feel left out.
He gave a good running commentary of the sights and geography of Armenia on the long drive out to Tatev. Wings of Tatev was really impressive! The Monastery was pretty and the drive back was really down some winding roads. Shaki waterfall was very pretty too with strong and rapid currents. The wine tasting let us try a wide variety of wines – classic Red, 3y Red, 7y Red, rose and 2 types of fruit wines. The kids at the winery gave us each an Easter egg and proceeded to play the whose egg is harder game after hahaa!

I did the day trip to the cable car and Tatev Monastery. We also went to the Armenian Stonehenge which was beautiful and fascinating. Our guide Nareh was very knowledgeable and professional. Good driver and transport. Friendly staff at the office when I booked. Nice lunch. I’d recommend this company.
