What to expect

Yerani Travel has designed this tour for everyone to have a memorable experience. Anyone who wants to book the tour and to travel Armenia by visiting its capital is welcome. Now, let’s check out the sights you will be going to explore.

Firstly, the trip starts in Yerevan History Museum, a Communal Museum founded in 1931. From its name, it is clear that the museum is in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. An impressive part is that it is Armenia’s 12th capital, founded in 782 BC. There are many stories about naming the place Yerevan. One tale says that Noah pronounced “Yerevats”, meaning “it is seen.” When he saw the land after the tremendous flood, the city got the name Yerevan later. Another story says that Yerevan city got its name from Erebuni Fortress in the 8th century BC.

Similarly, the Yerevan History Museum has many stories for you with captivating paintings, papers, and pictures. It also holds a wealth of documentary resources covering the city’s history from antiquity till now. The number of items, including anthropological, archaeological, and numismatic collections, is about 90,000. Afterward, we will take you to the “Megerian Carpet” factory. The attractive and detailed design of the carpets will amaze you. Then we take a break and have the traditional lunch full of tasty ingredients.

After that, the trip arrives at another place, the Genocide memorial. In 1967, it was built on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd, Yerevan. It is a must-see place to explore during travel in Armenia

There is also something essential about this group tour. All the extra expenses like entry tickets to see locations are included in the package cost.
