What to expectAs the name of this group tour, the things you will enjoy are the exquisite antiques and the history of Armenia. So, if you are planning to have an exciting trip with your group, book this tour. However, if you have visited the country before, then it will refresh you. Travel Armenia and explore what you have not seen yet.
The itinerary of this tour package starts from the alluring Khor Virap monastery. It is the epitome of history, only an hour from Yerevan. It is a perfect example of views representing Armenia’s defining symbol, the majestic Ararat. Generally, the meaning of “Khor Virap” is “Deep Dungeon” built of the former Royal prison, a historical place on Artashat. This jail was famous because it kept Gregory the Illuminator for a total of 13 years. He was the first head of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
This trip continues, and you will visit the “Birds’ cave”, an archaeological site in Armenia. It is known for the evidence of several elaborative burial rituals and agricultural practices. This cave was discovered in 2008 by archaeologists. The most exciting things uncovered from this cave are the oldest pair of leather shoes, almost 5500 years old and the winery of about 6100 years of age. This place is claimed from the Early Bronze Age, which is many, many years ago.
Then we head to visit one more exciting location, the Noravank monastery. Noravank has stunning medieval Armenian architecture in the brick-red cliffs. An excellent thing you will notice is the depiction of the Father in Armenia that looks similar to Jesus Christ on the dome of the Church’s narthex. The Orbelian noblemen constructed the Noravank monastery, which is this noble family’s grave. Surprisingly, during the 14th century, burying people in the Church was forbidden.
Now, we take some rest from the trip and will move forward to visit a winery. This place has the classic taste of wine that will impact your tastebuds.
A vital thing is yet to be covered about this tour. Yerani Travel offers the best minibuses to make the trip comfortable for you. The other thing that includes the cost of the group tour in Armenia is entry tickets to visit sights and guide service. So, pick this best deal and book a group tour for yourself.
Important: All visitors are kindly asked to be in appropriate wearing covering knees and shoulders when entering the monasteries.

Wonderful tour!
This was such a great tour! I visited Armenia with my husband, parents and aunt/uncle (6 adults total). This tour covers some major highlights for a trip to Armenia – Khor Virap, a view of Mount Ararat, Noravank, the Areni caves, a wine tasting, and a great lunch. I’ve visited Armenia a couple times before, but my family hadn’t, so this was a great mix of classic sites and new visits for me! Our tour guide was Hasmik and she was phenomenal. She is multi-lingual and took time to speak to my family in English, while also speaking to most of the rest of the tour group in Russian. Hasmik is very knowledgeable and friendly, as my family had many questions! Our driver was Vartan and he was very capable and friendly. At one point we got a flat tire, and Hasmik passed around refreshing grapes, while Vartan and a few good Samaritans replaced the tire. I would recommend this tour to Armenians, non-Armenians, new visitors, and repeat visitors. There was such great explanation of both history and current events, so everyone could learn something. Highly recommend!

Good logistics and easy access to Armenia! First organized tour in my life – and a fantastic experience. Extremely well organized, good size, great bus. Our guide Sam was excellent, providing lots of information during the ‘official’ guiding but also during separate conversations. Highly recommend if you want to get out and see the sights. If you’re not into group tours, don’t worry, there’s no awkward group moments.

10/10 I had an amazing tour with Yerani tours today. Nare was our guide. It seems to me she knows everything about Armenia. Actually it was an awesome experience: astonishing views, historical cites, tasty dinner and an awesome wine tasting. I recommend!

All perfect! Very kind, very reliable and always available. Minivan service with internet, air conditioning, water and sweet treats. The guide is very knowledgeable and always ready to answer questions. The places visited are enchanting. The typical lunch in a really suggestive restaurant is also excellent. If you happen to pass through Armenia, play it safe with Yerani Travel!

Absolutely exciting tour. We were well informed by the tour guide to all the stops we were going to stop. Being at the boarder of Mount Ararat was really breathtaking and awesome. The cave visit was a mind blowing for hearing Iriana detail the history based on what took place back in the centuries. The monestries we visited and the presence we felt can not be explained or describe. Lastly but not least the wine tasting was an eye opener because I’m not a wine drinker. I loved the sweet pomegranate one. I’m planning to go on another tour and will book in the future with you. Once again thank you.
