The tour begins from Yerevan and moves towards Tbilisi, Georgia along the way. When arrived, you’ll begin individual city tour of the most beautiful places of Tbilisi. You will take a glance to the history of the city from early centuries to nowadays by walking in narrow streets of the city and will explore the religious and secular architecture. Here you will find churches, synagogues, mosque as well as famous 19th century houses with wooden balconies. If you prefer you can also visit the cable car of the city to enjoy the beautiful view of Tbilisi.
Commonly known as Sameba, Tbilisi’s kitsch cathedral is located on Elia Hill above the left bank of the Mtkvari in the historic neighborhood of Avlabari. It is the main Georgian Orthodox Cathedral and is the third-tallest Eastern Orthodox Cathedral in the world. Sameba was constructed between 1995 and 2004 and paid for by anonymous donations from citizens and several wealthy businessmen. The Sameba complex consists of the main cathedral, a free- standing bell-tower, the residence of the Patriarch, a monastery,a clerical seminary and theological academy.
